Advertise On Discontinued-China.Net

We offer three different advertising services: -

1. Pattern Specific Supplier Links - FREE LISTING

For each pattern listed on our website we aim to build a comprehensive list of china replacement and china matching services who either regularly stock or are willing to search for that pattern. Examples of these links can be seen towards the bottom right of each pattern page.

A replacement/matching service may elect to be listed against specific patterns, all patterns or all patterns belonging to a particular pottery. Availability of these links is unlimited, but only one link per replacement service per page is allowed. Link ranking is awarded on a first come first served basis.

We make no charge for these listings. All we ask is that you place a reciprocal link from your own website to ours. We recommend using one of the "We are listed on Discontinued-China.Net" links that you will find on our Link To Us page.

To get your free links, simply email us with a list of the potteries/patterns that you wish to be listed against, along with the url of the link back to our site. We will set up the links as soon as we have validated the link.

2. Banner Space - Home Page, Pottery Pages, Pattern Pages

We have a limited amount of advertising space available for banner links. It is restricted to businesses that relate to the content of this site. For example, china matching services, tableware dealers, antique dealers, auctions, second hand goods, discontinued items etc.

The cost of the banners varies according to the page on which it is placed, and is charged annually. The table below details the pricing structure.

GLOSSARY: -

Banner Link - A graphical image link no more than 468 by 60 pixels.

Text Link - Textual link, usually the name of the business or product being linked to.

Page - The name of the page on which advertising space is available.

Number Per Page - The maximum number of links that will appear on a given page.

Number On Site - The total number of these links available on the site.

Number Currently Available - The number of advertising links currently available on a given page or group of pages.

Space is awarded on a first come, first served basis. Existing advertisers have the option to renew their current advertising before it is offered to others on our waiting list.

Booking your advertising space couldn't be simpler. Send us an email confirming where you would like your banner to appear and either include the banner image as an attachment or give us the url of the banner within the site. We will send you an invoice as soon as we have set up your banner, which must be paid within 28 days (by cheque or PayPal).

The advertising rates are reviewed annually based on demand and traffic through the site.

Our site has been optimised for the major search engines based on the names of the potteries and perhaps more importantly the names of the discontinued patterns of those potteries. The traffic per page is therefore extremely targeted making our gallery pages extremely effective advertising for china matching and replacement services. E.g. Do you always carry a surplus stock of a particular design. Purchase a banner link on our gallery page for that pattern and immediately drive interested customers to your site and increase sales.

3. Affiliate Marketing

If you have a web site that offers an affiliate marketing program and your product or service is in some way related to antiques, collectibles, china and/or used goods, we would be interested to hear from you. We are also willing to consider live datafeeds compatible with PHP and MySQL.
